StyleRibbon

NAME

StyleRibbon - set display style of ribbons
SYNOPSIS

StyleRibbon ( invisible | rect | round |
    rounded | ellip | lense | as_is )
    [ ( open | sharp | soft | as_is )
    [ ( open | sharp | soft | arrow | as_is )
    [ ( const | atom | as_is ) ] ] ]
DESCRIPTION

Set the display style of all selected ribbons. The first argument gives the profile of the middle part, the optional second and third argument determine the style of the start and the end.

The fourth argument only has an effect when the profile is 'round'. With the value 'atom', the radius is interpolated between the radii of the atoms used to define the spline, normally the CA atom for proteins. This can e. g. be used to show mobility by varying radius of the spline if the radius of the atoms is set to (a function of) the B-factor. For bundles of NMR structures, the B-factors can be calculated by MeanMol.

For all arguments, the value 'as_is' will leave the style unchanged, this is useful when one wants to change part of the values for multiple ribbons at once.

EXAMPLES

StyleRibbon rect
StyleRibbon rounded sharp arrow
StyleRibbon round open open atom
