WriteSecondary

NAME

WriteSecondary - write macro with secondary structure
SYNOPSIS

WriteSecondary
DESCRIPTION

Show a macro that describes the current definiton of secondary structure for all selected residues. Exactly one molecule must be selected. This macro can be edited and saved to a given file name. The macro can be executed with XMacUser to set the same (modified) secondary structure again.

The secondary structure can be read from a PDB file, calculated with CalcSecondary, or set manually with a set of DefPropRes and SetNeigh commands. The most convenient way is often to use CalcSecondary to get an intial definition, then use WriteSecondary to create a macro, edit it to the "correct" definitions, and then use XMacUser to set these.
