DialSelect - switch selection dialog on and off

DialSelect ( off | on )

Switch selection dialog on and off. The selection dialog is a convenient interface to the commands SelectMol, SelectRes, SelectAtom, SelectBond, SelectAngle and SelectDist.

For making a selection, enter an expression (see the Select* help page) in one of the text fields, and either click the corresponding button on the left side, or hit the Return key). When the Return key is used, the expression is stored in a history which can be recalled by the cursor keys or the small arrows on the right side of the text fields.

The button/field "R+A+B+A" makes a selection with the same expression for residues, atoms, bonds and angles. This can be convenient in some cases, also if the user is unsure what kind of selection a command requires.

The OK button closes the dialog, the Help button shows this help page.
